La Nuit sur l’étang’s Friday Concert at Place des Arts Sold Out:

Some Tickets Left for its Saturday Event at Boréal in Greater Sudbury

 

GREATER SUDBURY – February 22, 2023 – The first of two concerts celebrating 50 years of La Nuit sur l’étang is sold out.

There are no more tickets available for the Friday March 24th concert at Place des Arts in Greater Sudbury. People can still get in on the 50th annual celebrations by attending the second event (Two evenings: ONE NIGHT) at College Boreal on Saturday March 25th in Greater Sudbury at 7 PM.

That night will provide lots of nostalgia as well as a look to the future. For instance, there will be medleys covering the top songs of the past 25 years at the festival. Much prominence will be given to the return of poetry as well as theatre. Serge Monette will make his long awaited appearance to promote his latest album. His daughter will join him on stage. Mehdi Cayenne, an outstanding performer will also be featured.

Sudbury’s own Dan Bédard will lead a ten person all star house band featuring fabulous musicians such as Alan Walsh and Peter Cliche.

There are still some tickets available for the Homecoming Event at 4:30 on Friday March 24th at la Place des Arts.
